Former Astrophysics major Tom Holoien has been named an Einstein Fellow. This prestigious award is one of only 24 Einstein, Hubble, and Sagan Fellows awarded by NASA's Hubble Fellowship Program (NHFP).
As a postdoctoral Einstein Fellow, Tom will focus his efforts on expanding observational studies of tidal disruption events into the areas of early time (shortly after disruption) and very late times (years following disruption), where studies have been historically lacking. Well done Tom!
