It gives us great pleasure to announce Prof Saurabh Jha's 2022 election to Fellowship in the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). From the AAAS: "Election as a Fellow honors members whose efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications in service to society have distinguished them among their peers and colleagues."

Saurabh is being honored for his contributions to the study of Type Ia supernovae, including significant insights on their intrinsic properties and their use as cosmological probes. He is one of only 13 astronomers across the US, and also one of nine Rutgers professors in all fields, being honored this year.
