Xi Dai, also a former postdoc at the Center for Materials Theory, back around 2003 and 2004, holds a chaired professorship at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Earlier this year he was awarded a 1/3 share of the 2025 Future Science Prize in Physical Science. The citation for the award reads: "For their contributions to the computational prediction and experimental realization of topological electronic materials."
